Fasting from Facebook.

Today I decided to "facebook fast" and holy crap I have never been so productive!

It's hard to not take a quick break just to check it but I have accomplished so much today and it feels great! ha. kinda sad and ridiculous the whole idea I know...but it's working! 

This week is so busy and crazy that I might just go a whole week without checking facebook...it's kinda refreshing! But currently I have a huge test in a class that I am at this moment failing sooooo I really need to go study. And I have a paper due at 12am...should probably get that started too. And I have to go watch a movie. hm...Oh how I love college classes...

If college didn't have classes...or just not as many even it would be so perfect! ha

College

There are so many influences at college

They all try to pull you different ways

They all try to tell you different things

They all find it necessary to tell you their opinions about other people.

What if I want to find out for myself?

Maybe I want to get to know people on my own and then decide.

All these different people all have different views, ideas, opinions, LIVES.

We shouldn't judge them, it's not our place to.

Get to know them, ask them questions, take time to listen, take time to care. 

Care....hm care is a pretty big word when you think about it.

Caring means having interest enough to make an effort.

Not because of what someone else says, but because you yourself CARE.

God cared.

He cared so much he DIED...

We take that to lightly, we say "oh yea Jesus died for us" like it's no big deal...

That is huge...he died just so we could LIVE...

Live for him.

So take the time to get to know someone, regardless of what you have "heard" about them or have judged about them already. 

CARE about other's LIVES. Jesus did. He cared so much that he DIED just so we could LIVE.

**Sorry about how random and unorganized that was, just some thoughts that have been going through my mind lately all jumbled together.
